Week 1. Leap Past Limitations: Deal With Uncertainty
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. The Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen.” -- Exodus 14:15-18

Much like the Israelites we can be fearful when we face a seemingly insurmountable obstacle. They had their backs against the sea and the Egyptians at their heels. But God had promised that He would deliver them and spare them from the Egyptians. And we all know the deliverance came in the form of the parting of the sea.
Likewise, we may wonder or even be fearful of how can we possibly raise enough money to enable us to be in a position to someday purchase a permanent church building. We must be reminded that when we are aligned with God’s will for us then we can be assured that he will lead the way.
As you recall, a survey was sent to all of us asking us about our desire for our own church building. The overwhelming response was YES. This reply surely came with the understanding that it will require faith and sacrifice in order for your desire to become a reality.
Your Call to Leap:
We ask that you spent time in prayer, in fasting, and in meditative time with God so that your fears or uncertainty will be eased. Let us all rise up in unison and take ownership of this leap towards faith and believe that this too is possible, but only with God.
